Wedding Stories - Life Unscripted

Our wedding coverage is a combination of Photojournalism mixed with Fine Art photography. My B.F.A . in Photography from Savannah College of Art & Design and working as a newspaper photojournalist for 12 years, prepared me for running my photography business with my wife, Michelle, here in Lynchburg, VA.

Photojournalism is just not a catchphrase for us. We document every moment of your day from getting ready to leaving at the end of the night in the same style used while working as a newspaper photojournalist. We follow the action, the quiet moments and the surprises. We do shoot groupings of family when asked. Wedding are reunions in a sense, so if it were mine, I would want these shots as well. We then create a fresh and modern, yet heirloom worthy flush-mount album that tells the story of your day.

My photojournalism work has been published in Smart Money Magazine, WebMD Magazine, The Washington Post, LIFE book and magazine, The Associated Press (AP), Star Tribune, St. Petersburg Times, Working Mother Magazine and other publications across the country. I also have a personal multimedia documentary project included in the Library of Congress' American Folklife Center.
